Isaiah Newman is a queer, Jewish writer and social worker based in the Boston Area.
They currently work full-time as a therapist, and you can find their published fiction and poetry elsewhere on this website. They also organize with movements for social justice locally in the Boston area, and invite you to do the same in your own local context, however you are able to. They have previously attended a residency at the Sundress Academy for the Arts (Summer 2025), as well as the Tin House Summer Workshop (in 2024) and the Kenyon Review Writers’ Workshop (in 2023). They are currently at work on a novel, and their debut chapbook of poetry, All We’ve Got, will be published by the Garden Party Collective in the fall of 2026.
